First block train from Tashkent’s First Dry Port Terminal (FDPT) departed for Brazil on December 11. According to FDPT, the train contained 54 forty-foot containers, each containing 28 tons of urea.
The train route passes through Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Georgia. In the port of Poti, it is planned to load the containers onto a ship and deliver them by sea to Paranagua port in Brazil.
The sender is the Uzkimyoimpex, the sole agent for export-import operations in Uzbekistan’s chemical industry.
The estimated delivery time is from 60 to 70 days. It is planned to deliver containers from Uzbekistan to Poti within 20 days, and the sea route will last approximately 35-45 days.
