The President Mirziyoyev signed a decree on increasing the amount of wages (for budget-financed organizations), pensions, stipends and benefits Monday. From July 1, 2025, pensions and benefits, including to low-income families, will rise by 10%:
- the minimum old-age pension will be 918 thousand soums (now — 834 thousand soums),
- the minimum disability pension is 1 million 12 thousand soums (920 thousand).
The monthly child benefits in low-income families will be:
- 360 thousand soums — for a child under 3 years old;
- 275 thousand soums — from 3 to 18 years old,
- 165 thousand soums — for second child,
- 110 thousand soums — for third and next children.
Financial assistance to low-income families — 420 thousand soums per month.
From August 1, 2025, wages of employees of budget-financed organizations and student stipends will rise by 10%.
The minimum wage will increase from 1.155 million to 1.271 million soums, the basic calculation unit (BCU, used to determine fees, fines, duties and other fixed payments) - from 375 thousand to 412 thousand soums.
As Deputy PM Jamshid Kuchkarov emphasized, the increase is at a level not lower than inflation.
It is worth noting that student stipends will be raised for the first time in the last four years.
The last time wages were increased was in September 2024. Since then, the aggragate official inflation has already exceeded 8.5%.
