President Shavkat Mirziyoyev offered his wishes to Uzbeks on the New Year holiday. "Despite the difficult situation in the world, the year 2025 was prosperous for the country. Thanks to the dedicated work and socio-political activity of our people, the idea of ​​​​the New Uzbekistan is becoming a reality," he said.

He underscored the elections to the parliament and local councils, the launch of new projects, an increase in income and quality of livelihoods of the people, the erected new houses, the successes of Uzbeks at the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the growth of Uzbekistan's prestige in the international arena.

"All this became possible thanks to sustainable development, an atmosphere of friendship and harmony in our society," the president emphasized and thanked "all our creative people for their conscientious work and service to the Motherland."

Recalling that 2025 has been declared the Year of Environmental Protection and the Green Economy in the country, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said: "Our main goal is to create a sustainable balance between the economic system and the environment around us."

"We will create even greater opportunities for doing business. We will resolutely continue to work to ensure the inviolability of private property and actively attract foreign investment," the president underscored.

"The focus will be on the social support, increasing wages, pensions, scholarships and benefits. We will mobilize all our strength and capabilities to raise our children to be harmoniously developed, with modern knowledge and skills. We will increase attention to the development of science, education, healthcare, culture, art and sports," he listed.

Ccaring for veterans, women and youth, increasing the effectiveness of social protection will remain as priorities. The stpse "to strengthen the combat capacity of our Armed Forces, support military personnel and their families" will be raised to a new level. “In a word, all together, united, we will act to implement the main principle - ‘For the sake of people, for the sake of their happiness!’”, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
