Man posted a video footage of himself accelerating to 310 km/h on a BMW S1000 RR sportbike in Tashkent and posted the video on social networks. He was brought to administrative liability, said the spokesman to the Traffic police unit of the Tashkent city police department, Kakhramon Khudoyberganov.
The offender, who considers himself the first motorbike Instagrammer in Uzbekistan, said that the video was recorded in August last year. He said that he did not want young people and others to follow his example.
In the video, he also accelerated to 299 km/h on a Yamaha R1 bike. At the same time, in the footage, which has not yet been deleted from his Instagram page, he is seen speeding several times on these bikes, while he also ear;ier posted videos with other speeding violations.
An administrative violation sheet was issued against him under Exceeding the speed limit by drivers of vehicles by more than 40 km/h charge of the Code of Administrative Liability and was fined for 3.37 million soums, or 260 USD.
