President Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the opening of the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Development Week and the Zayed Sustainability Prize awarding ceremony, the presidential press service said.
The event was also attended by the presidents of the Emirates Sheikh Mohammed Al Nahyan, Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan, Bola Tinubu of Nigeria, Paul Kagame of Rwanda, Wavel Ramkalawan of the Seychelles, Yoweri Museveni of Uganda, Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim, as well as heads of state and government of other countries.
The 2025 Abu Dhabi Sustainable Development Week centers around sustainable development, promoting innovation and new technologies in the field of "green" economy, strengthening regional cooperation in the field of energy and food security.
The Week features the Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan Sustainability Prize in advancing sustainable development, serving humanity, and empowering innovators, entrepreneurs, and youth to actively contribute towards making a positive difference for our planet.
