President Mirziyoyev signed decree on October 17 liquidating the holding company UzPahtaSanoatExport (Uz Cotton Industry Export).
As noted in the document, the decision was taken with a view to "further optimize and improve the management system of cotton-cleaning and fat-and-oil industry companies."
The decree formed a commission, headed by Vice-Premier, Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources Zoyir Mirzaev, which should prepare proposals for management of the industry companies.
UzPahtaSanoatExport which incorporated the specialized companies - UzPahtaSanoat, UzPahtaExport and UzpahtaYog, was established in autumn 2015.
