As part of the state visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Korea, UzAvtoSanoat has reached deals on launching manufacture of Chevrolet Tracker car, upgraded Chevrolet Cobalt, as well as motorcycles and scooters in Uzbekistan, the media center covering the visit of the President to the Republic of Korea reported.
The deals foresee the launch of mass production of the next gen subcompact crossover SUV Chevrolet Tracker and upgraded Chevrolet Cobalt in 2019 as well as affordable price segment motorcycles and tricycles in Uzbekistan.
In total, during the visit, UzAvtoSanoat officials held meetings with the automotive companies of the Republic of Korea, following $800 million worth of deals were signed.
