President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Bukhara and Navoi provinces Thursday, the press-secretary to the head of state Komil Allamjonov said on his Facebook page.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev will reportedly attend the opening ceremony of the Kandym gas processing plant (GPP), built jointly by UzbekNeftegaz and the Russian LUKOIL.
Kandym GPC is part of the Kandym-Khauzak-Shady project. Gas production at the Khauzak-Shady section began in November 2007, in the Western Shady section in 2011. The construction of the 8.1 BCM design capacity GPP began in April 2016.
Also President Mirziyoyev will visit NavoiAzot which is completing three plants for production of "competitive chemical products". During his visit to Navoi, he will familiarize himself with the construction of these plants.
