Ukrainian pharmaceutical products are stuck at Uzbekistan’s customs post for several weeks with no explanation given by the Uzbek authorities, Ukrainian media outlets reported citing the Association of Employers' Organizations of the Medical and Microbiological Industry of Ukraine.
Among Ukrainian pharmaceutical companies are Yuriya-Farm, Farmak, Lekhim, Pharmkhim and others.
It is noted that the halt of the customs clearance is taken in response to the anti-subsidiary investigation launched in Ukraine against Uzbek cars improt.
In this regard, the Association appealed to Stepan Kubiv, First Deputy PM/Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, to intervene in this situation and hold a working meeting to find ways to resolve this problem together with representatives of this Association and other relevant organizations.
