The final minutes and roadmap on trade, economic and investment cooperation was signed following the second meeting of the Council of Heads of Border Provinces of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.

The accords were signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Muhammedkaliy Abylgaziyev.

The roadmap contains specific steps and timelines, including trade issues, joint cooperation in industry, cooperation in the field of quarantine and veterinary medicine, simplification of customs procedures, interbank cooperation, etc.

PM Aripov noted with satisfaction that the recent high-level events allowed the two countries to achieve historically significant results and agreements.

He reiterated the commitment to the all-round advancing of cooperation and mutually beneficial partnership ties with Kyrgyzstan.

"The results of the talksin the narrow format showed that once there is mutual desire there can be no problems which we would not be able to resolve," he noted.
