Uzbekistan is ready to work on the implementation of the Kambar-Ata-1 HPP construction project, the Uzbek Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Komil Rashidov said at a briefing on Tuesday.
He said that the parties were planning to create a joint water commission that will consider the ways for rational water use in the region.
“We also have a memorandum of cooperation signed between the national energy companies,” he added.
Note: On October 6, 2017, Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic signed a memorandum on the implementation of the Kambar-Ata-1 HPP project and the Electricity Supply Contract.
