President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on December 27, signed an Amendment to the Presidential Decree of April 11, 1995 № UP-1096 "On additional measures to regulate export and import operations."

The decree has lifted the 21-year ban on exports of such commodities as grains (wheat, rye, oats, rice, corn, buckwheat), bakery products, flour and cereals, cattle and poultry, meat and processed meat products, processed poultry products, sugar, antiques (paintings, sculptures, etc.), vegetable oils, leather, fur-skin (including karakul) raw materials, scrap of non-ferrous metals, silk cocoons, raw silk (not twisted), silk waste, and parings and scrap of polyethylene terephthalatate (PETF).

Starting from January 1, 2017 export contracts for these commodities are subject to registration with the state customs bodies in the manner prescribed by law.
