The Phase II of the of KamAZ trucks production in Uzbekistan is scheduled to be launched on November 25-26. A delegation from Tatarstan will soon travel to Uzbekistan, Farid Nasriev, Consul General of Uzbekistan in Kazan said.
The sides are reportedly expected to discuss bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
It should be noted that KamAZ started production at Uzavtotreyler sites in Uzbekistan this spring. The 3,000-unit design capacity plant in Samarkand’s Jambay district manufactures 11 types of trucks with load capacity from 10 to 36 tons.
