On February 13, at the Oliy Majlis the Deputy Chairman of the Senate, Sodiq Safoev met with the Deputy Director General of the Central and West Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank, Hong Wei.
During the meeting the sides discussed the details of preparation for the visit of the President of the Asian Development Bank, Takehiko Nakao to Uzbekistan.
The two sides also exchanged views on the priority areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the ADB.
Hong Wei emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral ties in all areas and the implementation of ADB's projects aimed at supporting Uzbekistan's strategic program of structural reforms, modernization of economy and infrastructure.
