The State-Owned Assets Management Agency (SOAMA) has announced putting for sale of the 57.118% stake in Coca-Cola Bottlers Uzbekistan.

Rothschild & Co. was assigned as the exclusive financial advisor to SOAMA. A call for bids is organized to all interested parties who meet the criteria.

The process will take place in two stages. The winner will be selected by the State Commission for Tenders for Sale of State-Owned Assets, taking into account the best bid value and the agreed terms of sale agreement.

Coca-Cola Bottlers Uzbekistan is the largest producer of soft drinks in Uzbekistan. In 2019, the company's market share was approximately 47%.

The company owns 3 production facilities in Tashkent, Namangan and Urgench. The company also has a modern warehouse network. In addition, it is planned to build a new enterprise in Samarkand.

In 2019, the company's revenue was at to 1.4 trillion soums, US$ 125 million, recording a 46 percent increase to 2018.

In March, it was reported that the Coca-Cola Company had plans to invest US$ 31 million for a joint venture in Uzbekistan in 2020-2021.
