The governor of Samarkand province, Himmat Okbutayev on March 12 departed on a working visit to Tatarstan (Russia). At Kazan international airport he was recived by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Ildar Khalikov, a statement of Tatarstan government said.
Himmat Okbutayev plans to visit Alabuga special economic zone, the production sites of KAMAZ automobile plant, the regional engineering center of medical simulators - Center for Medical Science/Eidos and Kazan Agro-industrial Technopark. He will also get acquainted with IT Park and Innopolis science city.
The governor will take part in the opening of the XVIII international specialized exhibition - Energy. Resource Saving at Kazanskaya Yarmarka exhibition center. In addition Himmat Okbutayev will make a presentation of the economic potential of the Samarkand province in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tatarstan.
On March 14, Himmat Okbutayev in the Kazan Kremlin will meet with the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. The sides plan to outline steps for the development of cooperation.
