On April 22, 2017 the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in order to inspect ongoing construction works and get acquainted with socio-economic development, the activities of schools and makhallas (neighbourhoods) visited Tashkent’s Olmazor district.
President Mirziyoyev visited Oniks Tashkent limited liability company, the only enterprise in Central Asia, that produces 20 tons of modern glassware per day. The facility which is equipped with the modern equipment from Europe employs 200 people.
The President of our country examined the samples of products manufactured by Oniks Tashkent.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave instructions to effectively use empty buildings in the ditrict, launch facilities for the production of modern high-demand products.
Some local banks granted preferential loans for new projects to be launched in the Olmazar district. One of them is LLC Art Wood Group, which will manufacture laminated chip boardand and medium density fibreboard, which are used in the manufacture of modern furniture and household items. The frim Ijod-Ijod will launch the production of ceramic products, LLC Euroasia Alliance Tex - coarse fiber, LLC Stanko Stroitel - metal and wood processing machines.
Inter Capital LLC will produce medicines, Galenika LLC, - 225 million pieces of tablets, capsules, sachets and other import-substituting medicines a year, total over 60 items.
There are other projects that envisage the production of building materials, wood, metal, polysterel-concrete slabs, glass processing, special working clothes, confectionery, bakery and other food products, medical products, and light industry goods.
