President Mirziyoyev signed decree appointing Ulugbek Mustafoyev as governor of the Jizzakh province to replace Ergash Soliyev, the presidential spokesman Sherzod Asadov said.
Ulugbek Mustafoyev, 56, who had worked as the chairman of Provincial Electric Networks (PEN).
Mustafoyev graduated from the Tashkent Institute of National Economy in 1991. He headed the PEN since April 2019, before that, since 2017, he was the head of the Uzbekenergo (then it was split into three companies - PEN, National Electric Networks and Thermal Power Plants).
