Judge of the Chust district criminal court in Namangan province, Jakhongir Yakubkhujaev, was fined for beating and injuring his assistant, Shokhjakhon Yakhshibaev, the spokesman to the Supreme Judicial Council, Tursunali Akbarov said.
Reportedly, the Qualification Collegium of Judges of the Namangan province imposed a fine on the man. However, Tursunali Akbarov did not elaborate on the amount of the fine.
On January 18, 2025, Jakhongir Yakubkhujaev beat his assistant, Shokhjakhon Yakhshibaev, in his office. The victim contacted the Turakurgan district hospital. The medical certificate indicated that he sustained bruises to the soft tissues of the face and other bodily injuries.
