Criminal case has been opened against an employee of a pretrial detention facility in the Tashkent province, where a 31-year-old convict escaped from a penal colony while on work assignment and raped a third-grade student, the press service of the National Agency for Social Protection of the Population said.
Reportedly, The man is now facing the charge under the paragraph "c" of Part 3 of Article 214 (Illegal receipt by an employee of a government agency, an organization with state participation, or a citizen's self-government body of financial or property benefits by prior conspiracy by a group of persons).
While, the perpetrator has been detained and remanded in custody. A criminal case has been opened against him under Articles 118 (Rape) and Part 4 of Article 119 (Forcible sexual intercourse in an unnatural form committed against a person under fourteen years of age).
The victim is currently receiving primary medical and psychologist assistance. The agency noted that it had taken the case under control.
