The Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov hosted the Vice President of John Deere Peter Sachs on Tuesday.
The parties discussed the perspectives for modernizing the national agro-industrial complex and introducing innovative solutions to agriculture. They focus on supplying equipment, developing service infrastructure and integrating advanced digital technologies.
The parties explored the possibilities of enhancing ties with sectoral bodies in Uzbekistan, as well as attracting direct investments and localizing production in the country.
At the end of the negotiations, the sides noted that there was a mutual interest in long-term cooperation and expressed their readiness to continue a constructive dialogue to implement joint projects aimed at increasing the efficiency and environmental sustainability of the agricultural sector of Uzbekistan.
