The Uzbek Embassy officials held talks with the chief of the Korea Social Workers Association on building cooperation Monday.
The officials provided detailed information on Uzbekistan’s social policies, including the social protection, improving the living standards of the public, social services, and resolving social issues.
At the same time, the parties reached specific deals on building cooperation between the Uzbek Agency for Social Protection and the Korea Social Workers Association and drafting a cooperation document.
Meanwhile, they also exchanged views on developing a joint program for improving the skills and training of social workers in the country, conducting training courses by inviting South Korean specialists to Uzbekistan, attracting advanced technologies and equipment, and establishing direct contacts between the two organizations.
