Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, during an official visit to Ashgabat. The dialogue focused on strengthening the strategic partnership between the two nations, expanding trade and economic cooperation, and further developing their centuries-old friendly relations.
According to the Dunyo news agency, Bakhtiyor Saidov conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the Turkmen President.
Writing on his Telegram channel, the Foreign Minister noted that during the talks, special emphasis was placed on the steady evolution of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
Both sides highlighted the ongoing close and productive dialogue taking place at all levels of government, as well as the stable growth trajectory of bilateral trade turnover between the two countries.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on deepening relations built on centuries of friendship, good neighborliness, and mutual trust, while continuing joint efforts to expand existing avenues of cooperation.
