The Ministry of Finance hosted the talks with officials of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), The Coca-Cola Company (USA) and Coca-Cola İçecek (Turkey) on September 18-19, the ministry said.
The parties discussed attracting strategic investor for the joint venture Coca-Cola Ichimligi Uzbekiston Ltd, and EBRD will assist to achieve this.
UzbekkOziqovqatHolding, the state-owned company, owns 57.1% of Coca-Cola Ichimligi Uzbekiston, while Coca-Cola Export Corporation owns 42.9%.
Coca-Cola Ichimligi Uzbekiston was established in 1993 and has three plants in Uzbekistan, in Tashkent, Namangan and Urgench.
