Regular, direct flights are launching between Tashkent and the Jordanian capital of Amman, to be operated by Royal Jordanian Airlines, according to the Dunyo Information Agency.
The inaugural flight on this route is scheduled for tomorrow, June 30. According to the timetable, flight RJ196 will depart from Amman Civil Airport (or Queen Alia International Airport) at 22:50 local time and touch down at Tashkent International Airport at 05:25 the following morning.
The agreement to establish scheduled commercial flights between Tashkent and Amman was finalized during high-level talks between the President of Uzbekistan and the King of Jordan in Samarkand back in August 2025. Following those discussions, both nations also signed a mutual visa-waiver agreement. Since September 25, 2025, citizens of Uzbekistan have been able to travel to Jordan visa-free for stays of up to 30 days.
