President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze signed a Declaration on the Establishment of Strategic Partnership Relations following talks in Tbilisi, the president's press service has reported.
The two delegations also exchanged a series of bilateral documents, including:
- Agreement on cooperation and mutual administrative assistance in customs matters;
- Agreement on cooperation in information and communication technologies and digitalization;
- Agreement on cooperation in vocational and higher education, science, and innovation;
- Cooperation program between the governments of Uzbekistan and Georgia for 2026–2027;
- Cooperation program between the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Culture of Georgia for 2027–2030;
- Memorandum of understanding between Uzbekistan's Ministry of Economy and Finance and Georgia's Ministry of Finance;
- Memorandum on cooperation in implementing the "E-Permit" electronic permit exchange information system;
- Memorandum of understanding on agriculture;
- Memorandum on cooperation in environmental protection;
- Memorandum of understanding on healthcare;
- Memorandum on cooperation and information exchange on radiation protection and nuclear safety;
- Memorandum of understanding on labor migration;
- Memorandum on cooperation in tourism.
During the visit, a memorandum on cooperation was also signed between the Enforcement Bureau under the Prosecutor General's Office of Uzbekistan and the Enforcement Bureau of Georgia's Ministry of Justice.
