Reports circulated on social media claiming that a gas cylinder had exploded on a truck at the Abu Sakhiy market. Tashkent's Emergency Situations Department has now confirmed that a gas cylinder ruptured on a KamAZ truck near the Abu Sakhiy market in the city's Chilanzar district.
According to a report received by Tashkent's Emergency Situations Department on July 3, rescue units arrived at the scene without delay.
An investigation confirmed that a gas cylinder had burst on a KamAZ truck on Tashkent's Ring Road. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Earlier, a Nexia-2 car was reported to have caught fire in the Bostanliq district of the Tashkent province.
