This Friday and over the weekend, Uzbekistan is set to experience hot and predominantly dry weather, Uzhydromet said in a statement.

Most of the country will see clear to partly cloudy skies. Brief thundershowers are possible only in isolated mountainous areas and in parts of the Fergana Valley on July 12.

Daytime temperatures will climb to +37°C…+40°C, while the northern, southern, and desert zones will see highs of +41°C…+43°C. At night and during the early morning hours, temperatures will range between +22°C…+27°C.

An easterly wind will blow at 7–12 m/s. On July 11–12, gusts may strengthen to 13–18 m/s in some areas, potentially kicking up blowing dust.

Mudslides and flash floods are possible in the foothill and mountainous regions of the Tashkent, Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana provinces.

Tashkent will experience mostly clear skies. The daytime temperature will reach +38°C…+40°C, cooling down to +23°C…+25°C at night.
