A gradual cooling trend is set to begin in Uzbekistan over the weekend. According to forecasts by Uzhydromet, hot weather is expected across most of Uzbekistan on July 31. Daytime temperatures will peak between 38°C and 41°C, while southern, northern, and desert areaswill experience highs of 42°C to 43°C. This sits roughly 2°C to 4°C above the seasonal climate norm for late July and early August.

The intense heat will persist across most of the republic on August 1 and 2, with relief starting only in the northwestern areas. Clear to partly cloudy skies with no precipitation are expected through the weekend. By next week, the drop in temperature will spread across all territories of Uzbekistan.

Winds may intensify in parts of the country, reaching speeds of 13 to 18 meters per second and triggering localized dust storms.

Tashkent will see mostly clear skies and no rain. Between July 31 and August 2, the capital will record daytime highs of 37°C to 40°C, with overnight lows dipping to 23°C–26°C.

Long-range forecasts indicate that cooler air masses are likely to move into Uzbekistan toward the end of August, gradually bringing daytime temperatures down to a more comfortable 25°C to 30°C.
