A young child whose head became wedged inside a hole in a concrete structure was safely freed by emergency rescue crews in the city of Bukhara, local officials reported. The child escaped the ordeal completely unharmed.
The incident occurred on August 3 in a residential area of Bukhara. Emergency officials stated that the child had inadvertently trapped their head inside the opening while playing unattended and was unable to break free.
Upon receiving the distress call, rescuers from the Bukhara Regional Emergency Situations Department were dispatched immediately to the scene. Utilizing specialized extrication equipment, the rescue team successfully extracted the child without causing any injuries.
Following the incident, the Emergency Situations Department issued an advisory urging citizens to keep a close watch on young children and to strictly follow safety guidelines to prevent similar hazardous accidents.
