The Prosecutor General's Office has launched a Telegram bot called "Illegal Construction" (@noqonuniy_qurilish_bot) that allows Tashkent residents to report suspected illegal construction.
"If you witness illegal construction near apartment buildings, sports facilities, playgrounds, green spaces or other public areas, please report it immediately through the bot," the agency said in a statement.
Prosecutors said the initiative is designed to strengthen public oversight, preserve the city's architectural character, ensure strict compliance with urban planning regulations, and curb illegal construction.
The office urged residents "not to remain indifferent to their homes and neighborhoods, but to take an active role in public oversight."
"Remember, every plot of land is a shared asset — belonging to each of us and to our nation," the Office concluded.
