A man set fire to his father-in-law's home in the Kuva district of Fergana province following a family dispute, the Zamon news program reported.
According to the report, the suspect's wife had taken their child and returned to her parents' home amid the dispute. The man, who had recently returned from working in Russia, went to his father-in-law's house to see his child — but flew into a rage after hearing that his wife was being married off to another man.
A few hours later, he returned to the house carrying gasoline. He poured the fuel inside one of the rooms, set it alight, and fled the scene. The fire caused an estimated 109,884,000 so'm (roughly $9,200) in damage.
