Three Uzbek nationals were killed in a road accident in Kazakhstan's Kyzylorda province, Uzbekistan's Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
According to the ministry, the crash occurred at 6:47 a.m. on August 22 in the Birkazan district of Kyzylorda province, on the 1,831–1,836-kilometer stretch of the KAZ06 highway linking Karabutak, Kyzylorda and Shymkent, when a Nissan Cefiro collided with a KamAZ truck.
All three Uzbek citizens riding in the Nissan died at the scene.
"The Ministry of Emergency Situations has formed a working group together with relevant ministries and agencies and is taking all necessary measures to repatriate the victims and provide comprehensive support to their families," the ministry concluded in its statement.
