New procedure has been posted on the legal information portal which stipulates that the state budget will cover the costs of producing up to 50 stage productions per year by private theaters and theater studios.

The state will also reimburse private theaters for up to 50 times the base calculation value each month toward the cost of renting private venues.

In addition, state-run cultural venues will be made available to private theaters and theater studios free of charge during idle hours, allowing them to stage performances without paying rent.

If two or more private theaters or theater studios seek to use the same venue at the same time, a competitive selection process will be held to determine which company gets access.

The move is intended to support private theaters, encourage the creation of new stage productions, and expand opportunities for these companies to stage performances for the public.
