A boarding school student in Tashkent has died after falling from the fourth floor of a dormitory building, the spokesman to the Prosecutor General's Office Hayot Shamsutdinov reported.
the student, identified as Sh.J. reportedly fell from the fourth floor of the boarding school dormitory 10 days ago. He sustained severe injuries and was hospitalized, but died on September 15.
The Olmazor district prosecutor's office is currently conducting a pre-investigation inquiry into the case.
According to reports, the student had previously won prizes in national and international competitions in mathematics and science. He won a gold medal at the International Young Researchers' Tournament held in Almaty in 2026.
