Uzbekistan's national weather service, Uzhydromet, has issued its forecast for September 24, predicting a slight dip in temperatures across the country this Thursday.
In Tashkent, skies will be partly cloudy with occasional clearing and no precipitation. An easterly wind will blow at 3–8 meters per second. Overnight temperatures will hover between 15°C and 17°C, while daytime highs are expected to reach 28–30°C.
The Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm province will experience partly cloudy skies, shifting to variable cloud cover in some areas with no rain expected. Winds will blow from the east at 7–12 meters per second. Temperatures will range from 12°C to 17°C at night and peak between 25°C and 30°C during the day.
Bukhara and Navoiy provinces will see similar conditions, with partly cloudy to variable skies and no precipitation. Easterly winds will reach speeds of 7–12 meters per second. Overnight lows will hit 13–18°C, with daytime highs of 25–30°C.
In Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand provinces, the weather will remain partly cloudy to variable with no rain. Winds will blow from the east at 7–12 meters per second. Temperatures are forecast at 13–18°C at night and 25–30°C during the day.
Kashkadarya and Surhandarya provinces will also see partly cloudy, dry conditions with easterly winds at 7–12 meters per second. However, daytime temperatures will run warmer, reaching 30–35°C after overnight lows of 13–18°C.
Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana provinces will see more volatile weather. Variable skies bring a chance of scattered, short-term showers and thunderstorms. Winds will blow from the east at 7–12 meters per second, with temperatures ranging from 13–18°C at night to 25–30°C during the day.
In the foothills and mountainous areas of the country, the weather will be unstable. Scattered brief showers and thunderstorms are expected, accompanied by easterly winds of 7–12 meters per second that could gust up to 13–18 meters per second in some locations. Temperatures will be noticeably cooler, dropping to 10–15°C overnight and reaching only 18–23°C during the day.
Uzhydromet previously noted in its monthly outlook that September would bring shifting weather patterns, with frequent fluctuations between warm and cool spells.
