Worker for Toza Hudud (Clean Territory), government body responsible for sanitation and solid waste management, in Kiziltepa district, Navoi province, has been jailed for five days for harassing a minor girl.

Law enforcement established that the man, identified by the initials U.N., 24, met the girl through the social network Instagram.

On September 19, 2026, U.N. told the girl she had a delivery order and asked her to come to a shop in the district. When she arrived, he asked her to get into a Damas car he was driving.

Inside the car, U.N. said that although he had introduced himself on Instagram as Temur, his real name was different. He also said he had a wife and two children. He then told the girl he had fallen in love with her, took her by the hand and made sexually suggestive remarks.

"After this, my daughter went into shock and tried to get out of the car. But the man grabbed her by the hand and wouldn't let her," the girl's mother said in her testimony.

The court found U.N. guilty of an offense under Part 1 of Article 41-1 of the Administrative Responsibility Code and sentenced him to five days of administrative detention.

It was reported earlier that a mahalla chairman in Kushrabot district, Samarkand province, was jailed for five days for sending a woman sexually explicit messages and pornographic videos via Telegram.
