A car struck and killed a pedestrian on Tashkent Ring Road in the city’s Yashnabad district on Sunday evening, the road safety service of the Tashkent Police Department said.
The pedestrian, 31, died at the scene. The collision occurred at about 5:45 p.m., opposite the Qo’yliq construction market, the service’s press office said.
A Li 9 car was driven by Y.M., born in 2004. The pedestrian was reportedly crossing at an unmarked section of the road, with investigation ongoing.
