Oksana Chusovitina won two medals in Mexican Open gymnastics tournament or Abierto Mexicano de Gimnasia, the press service of the National Olympic Committee announced.
The renowned gymnast won a gold medal in the vault scoring 14.25, and a bronze medal in the all-around (52.225) after performing consistently in four disciplines.
The competition included participants from Brazil, Germany, Spain, Italy, Colombia, Mexico, Romania, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Japan.
Note: In Rio 2016 Olympic Games the 41-year-old Chusovitina became the oldest gymnast to ever participate in Olympic Games and the only gymnast who has participated in seven consecutive Olympics, thus setting a record.
