Uzbek clubs learned their Group Stage and play-off opponents for the 2017 edition of the AFC Champions League on Tuesday following the competition’s official draw in Kuala Lumpur.

Tashkent based Lokomotiv begin their AFC Champions League campaign from Group A where they are set to face a formidable foe in the shape of Al Ahli FC, Al Taawoun (KSA) and the winner of Play-off between Iran's Esteghlal FC  and Al Sadd SC of Qatar.

Another Tashkent club FC Bunyodkor, provided they defeat Qatar's El Jaish SC in a Play-off, will play in Group A formidable opponents as the last year’s edition runner-up Al AIn of the UAE, Al Ahli FC from Saudi Arabia and Iran's Zobahan FC.

Elsewhere Karshi based Nasaf will play in preliminary stage against Al Hidd of Bahrain and Al Fateh of Saudi Arabia and if successful will play in Group B along with Esteghlal Khouzestan FC of Iran, Al Jazira from the UAE and Qatar’s Lekhwiya SC.
