Uzbekistan national team’s scheduled friendly match against Kazakhstan on March 26 in Tashkent was cancelled, reportedly by the decision of the new Kazakhstan head coach Michal Bilek. The coach reportedly saw no benfit for the national team to play against an Asian side.
Bilek was named the head coach of Kazakhstan in January 2019.
The international department of the Uzbekistan Football Association promptly found a replacement in Armenia team which will travel to Tashkent for a friendly on March 26.
