11 thousand Presidential Gifts have been prepared for the children of orphanages and SOS-Children's Villages all over the country, a statement of the National Education Ministry said.
Each set of gifts consists of 12 items of school supplies and 15 items of sweets. Gifts are being delivered to Tashkent, Syrdarya and Jizzakh region by truck, and to the Republic of Karakalpakstan and other regions - on Uzbekistan Airways airplanes from 25 to 28 December.
Gifts will be given to children in a festive atmosphere at Presidential New Year Celebrations, which will be held from December 29 all over Uzbekistan.
