Government’s 96% stake in Andijan Biochemical Plant was sold to Jasmine Gold Group for 101.3 billion soums, or 8 million USD, the State Asset Management Agency said.
Abrau Capital company was hired as a privatization consultant.
The privatization was approved by the State Commission for Privatization of State Assets and Coordination of Privatization Processes.
In 2023, Andijan Biochemical Plant produced 1 million daL of alcohol, on 10.1 billion soums of net profit, net assets standing at 71.5 billion soums, and total liabilities of 17.3 billion soums.
