Starting from August 22, 2017, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan will issue a new 50,000 soum banknote, СBU said in a statement.
The 144×78 mm banknote printed on protected paper will have internationally acceptable features such as watermark and security thread with 3D-effect, - the statement added.
On the front side in the center, there are storks raising above the Ezgulik arch located on the Mustakillik square.
New banknotes along with all other banknotes already in circulation must be accepted at face value for all payments by all entities and public without any restrictions.
