President signed the Measures to implement the program for providing the population with housing through mortgage loans based on market principles for 2023 Decree setting zero customs duty on some building materials.
According to Norma, From May 1, 2023 to January 1, 2025, a zero customs duty rate shall be applied on the import of the following building materials and raw materials:
- portland cement, as well as aluminous, slag, supersulphate and similar hydraulic cements (uncolored or colored, prepared or in clinker form);
- timber;
- chipboards;
- glued plywood, veneered panels and similar laminated wood;
- formwork for concreting;
- energy-saving basalt coatings;
- thermal polished glass and ground or polished glass.
