Ukraine’s Zakrpattian region received the delivery of over 34 tons of humanitarian aid from Uzbekistan, including medicines, first-aid kits and long-lasting food products.
Earlier on April 8, Ukraine also received humanitarian aid from Uzbekistan, the administration of the Zakrpattian region said.
"Humanitarian aid will be sent immediately to the hotspots," said the head of the regional administration Victor Mikita.
Viktor Mikita thanked the Uzbek government for its assistance and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Uzbekistan Mykola Doroshenko for coordination and effective humanitarian corridor.
