On April 11, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Akkulov departed from Tashkent for Abu Dhabi, the UAE, the Foreign Ministry said.
Abdulaziz Akkulov, 37, he graduated from the Tashkent State Economic University and holds a graduate degree in international tourism management.
He began his career in 2005 at the Uzstandard agency. From 2006 to 2017, he held various positions in the national company Uzbektourism.
In 2017-2020, he worked as the head of department, deputy, first deputy chairman, acting chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development of Uzbekistan.
In 2021, he served as Deputy Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan.
