On April 18, Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov held a meeting with executives of Microsoft, the Ministry said in a statement.
Reportedly, during the meeting, topical and promising areas of cooperation were discussed.
The parties also focused on IT education, even greater involvement of young people in these processes, training of qualified personnel.
The Minister Shermatov proposed to open a Microsoft development office in Uzbekistan.
The parties expressed their readiness to further enhance ties and continue work on the implementation of joint projects.
