Simplified goods processing customs regime will be introduced as of May 1. This is provided for by the April 25 decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev dated on simplifying access to the customs regime for the processing of goods in the customs territory, the press service of the Ministry of Justice reported.
Recycling includes bottling, packaging (including repackaging), sorting, cleaning, adaptation to other goods and equipment upgrades. To place goods under this regime, a sanitary and epidemiological conclusion will not be required, as well as confirmation of their compliance with the requirements of technical regulation.
Permit for processing of goods of a certain type will be valid for up to 2 years, the permit can be transferred to another person, provided that he complies with the conditions of the regime. If the goods are placed under the regime of processing in the customs territory for repair, a processing permit is not required for it.
Rate of output of products and formation of processing waste is approved by processing company and submitted to the customs authorities. When processing waste in the customs zone, when registering the free circulation regime, customs duties will not be levied.
The procedure for securing the payment of customs payments is not applied to participants in the special economic zone and authorized economic operators.
Rates, benefits, preferences for the export of goods established for the re-export regime will also apply to goods processed in the customs territory.
Special department is being created in the State Customs Committee to improve this customs regime.
