On May 5, Uzbek border guards used fire arms against three Kyrgyz nationals, 24.kg news agency reported referring to the frontier service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan.
The incident occurred in Dobo-Korgon area of Aktam rural administration of Ala-Buka district of Jalal-Abad region.
Three Kyrgyzs sustained gunshot wounds, were taken to a hospital in Ala-Buka district, where they died without regaining consciousness.
To clarify the circumstances of the incident, the border official of Kyrgyzstan in Ala-Buka district met with an Uzbek border official of Yangi-Kurgan district. The parties agreed to continue the meeting on May 6 after internal investigations. Investigation has been launched into the fact, the statement says.
